Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 launches June 8, 2026 with a Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab. Rebecca is free for all players. Here is everything confirmed so far.

Kuro Games just confirmed the collaboration the community has been waiting for since hints surfaced during the Version 2.3 anniversary livestream. Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 launches June 8, 2026 on PC, mobile, and PS5, and it brings the game's first major cross-IP crossover: a full collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the Netflix anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

Two characters are joining the roster. Both are 5-star Resonators. One of them is free for every player who logs in during the event window.

Who You Are Getting

Rebecca and Lucy are the two playable collaboration characters confirmed through official drip marketing on Wuthering Waves social channels.

Rebecca arrives as the free 5-star. Every active player can claim her through the collaboration event without spending a single pull. Her drip marketing confirmed she brings her iconic machine gun into combat, and her kit reflects the chaotic, aggressive energy she carried throughout the anime. For players who watched Edgerunners and wanted Rebecca specifically, this is an unusually generous delivery. Free limited 5-stars in gacha games are rare. Free limited 5-stars based on genuinely beloved anime characters are rarer still.

Lucy joins as a limited banner character available through standard pulls. She is a 5-star Spectro Resonator who wields her signature Monowire, delivering fast strikes built around mobility and what the kit description frames as data-shredding effects. Her design in Wuthering Waves stays close to her original Edgerunners appearance, which the community responded to positively when the marketing dropped.

David, the anime's main character, makes a brief appearance in the collaboration trailer wearing his recognisable yellow jacket, though no playable version of him has been confirmed for this version.

What Else Version 3.4 Brings

The collaboration content extends beyond the two characters. A Night City-inspired explorable environment launches alongside the update, bringing the neon-drenched cyberpunk aesthetic into the Wuthering Waves world as a dedicated region players can move through. The visual contrast between the existing Wuthering Waves environments and the new sci-fi cityscape is significant, and early footage suggests it was designed specifically for this collab rather than repurposed from existing assets.

The bike racing minigame from a previous version of the game returns for 3.4, this time with online multiplayer added. The timing alongside the Cyberpunk collab is deliberate given how central motorcycles are to the Edgerunners aesthetic.

How to Prepare Before June 8

The Version 3.4 Preview Special Broadcast aired May 29, 2026, confirming the full character kits, event details, and pull rates for the collaboration banners. Players who want Lucy should assess their current Astrite reserves before the update drops. Rebecca requires no pulling at all, only logging in and completing the event requirements.

This is Wuthering Waves' most significant update since launch. The combination of a free beloved character and a visually distinct new region makes it worth returning to the game even for players who stepped away after earlier versions.
